Crucial 4TB P3 NVMe – CT4000P3SSD8 – Benchmark

I didn’t plan to put this content on my site. But buying this SSD I struggled to find any useful information on it. And until youtubers and hardware blogs are able to post benchmarks I figured I would put some up.

This drive is running in the M.2. Pci 3.0 x4 slot on an Asus x470-pro with a Amd Ryzen 2700x.

As you can see, the rated speeds seem fairly accurate

The speeds are actually comparable to my Samsung 960 Evo 1TB. It is running my OS so it’s not a fair comparison. But it seems to be slightly faster than it at a glance. Running a 32gb file onto the Crucial drive also didn’t seem to slow the test down. So that Dran-less SSD doesn’t seem to be held back too hard.
